OUR STORY
Our story begins in 2009 in the beautiful desert of Phoenix, Arizona. We started our DJ business as a partnership driven by a shared passion for music and creating unforgettable experiences. Since then, we’ve been dedicated to bringing the perfect soundtrack to life’s most important moments—from corporate and private events to high school functions and thousands of beautiful weddings.
In 2019, Dario Varela took over complete ownership of AZ Party Rockers. With hard work and a new vision set in place, our company has more than doubled in staff, inventory and clientele. With a strong focus on customer service, quality experience, fair pricing and over delivering on our promises to our clients, we have managed to become the top DJ and Production company in the Valley.
We have been blessed with the opportunity to work with some of the
biggest brands and companies in the country. We continue to strive for growth, not only for the company, but growth for each one of our loving team members.
Dario "DJ Dario" Varela
Owner / DJ & MC
DJ Dario, an established and successful entertainer, has developed a reputation for being a part of Arizona’s biggest events, concerts and most reputable nightclubs. DJ Dario is an open format DJ and his music preferences are Latin, Hip Hop and Pop. Dario is a versatile and talented DJ known for getting any crowd moving, whether it’s a high-energy high school dance, a sophisticated corporate event, or an unforgettable wedding reception. With over 15 years of experience, he has a knack for reading the room and delivering the perfect mix of music to keep guests on their feet. His professionalism and ability to adapt to any occasion make him a top choice for corporate events, private parties, and celebrations of all kinds. Dario brings energy, style, and a good time wherever he performs! When Dario is not on stage, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, reading leadership books, hitting the gym and going on hikes. Because of his deep love and hard work in the industry, Dario has managed to achieve great popularity in the entertainment industry locally, and most recently has started growing at a national level. Overall, two words describe DJ Dario:

Gerardo "G" Ibarra
Project Manager
Former Honda tech. I bring many years of experience working with my hands, diagnosing on the fly, and troubleshooting any sort of issues that may come about. Continuing to always learn new things, working for AZPR introduced me to sound engineering, lighting design and video production. Came in with minimal experience, Dario and crew have taught me plenty and continue to provide me with more knowledge every day. AZPR has also given me a great opportunity to meet a lot of great new people while at the same time providing awesome entertainment experiences.
In my free time I enjoy spending time outside, exercising, and staying active. Hobby guitar player and music lover. Always on the lookout for what the next concert to attend will be. Catch me at the next rock show.
Conrad "Khaos" Holl
Design & Marketing
With a dynamic blend of education, creativity, and industry experience, I specialize in crafting compelling branding and design solutions. My journey began with dual Bachelor's Degrees in Advertising and Public Relations, equipping me with a unique perspective on effective communication and brand strategy.
Over the past 17 years, I’ve thrived as an Open Format DJ, mastering the art of storytelling through music and connecting with diverse audiences. This creative adaptability seamlessly translates into my work as a graphic designer, a field I’ve excelled in for over 15 years. My design portfolio spans multiple industries, ensuring every project resonates with its intended audience.
My career is enriched by 100+ podcast interviews with artists, DJs, and entrepreneurs, giving me a deeper understanding of brand narratives, and 200+ live internet radio broadcasts, where I’ve built meaningful connections with listeners. Two years of experience with Arizona’s largest printer sharpened my expertise in print production and design optimization, ensuring excellence in every detail.

Dj Johnny (S) is an open format Dj specializing in Latin, Hip-Hop and Pop. With over 15 years of experience, Johnny has the ability to read a crowd, build energy and create an experience that everyone will enjoy. His professionalism and attention to detail allows him to create memorable moments for all occasions and with the perfect mix of your favorite music, a fun time is guaranteed. When Johnny is not on stage, he enjoys spending time with his family and attending sporting events. He also enjoys a nice vacation that involves some sunshine and a beach. With the passion and dedication that Johnny puts into every event, it comes to no surprise that his performances are ones to remember. With over three years of experience in lighting and stage design, Matthew Herrera is dedicated to transforming client's visions into stunning realities. His creativity, hard work, and passion for the craft drive him to deliver exceptional results on every project. Outside of his professional life, Matthew cherishes time spent with his wife and their beautiful daughter, finding inspiration in their joy and togetherness.
Gabriel Montoya
Media & Content Creator
Gabriel Montoya, "Glimpse" is a 28-year-old photographer and videographer in Phoenix, Arizona. His passion for visual storytelling began at age 15, evolving from a hobby into a career. Gabriel started his media journey in the church he grew up in, where he learned live streaming as a camera operator.
He became a key member of the media team and then the corporate media team, capturing events and conferences for over 3,000+ attendees at venues like the Ontario and L.A. Convention Center.
At 21, he dove into Phoenix's nightlife, gaining recognition for his nightclub photography. Now, collaborating with artists like Junior H and YG at concerts and festivals, he has become a versatile content creator. Currently, Gabriel serves as our social media content creator for AZ Party Rockers, creating
content to enhance the company's online presence. Outside of work, he enjoys reality TV and exploring new restaurants. Gabriel is dedicated to
capturing the beauty of the moment, always striving to deliver his best in photography and videography.
Gabriel Sanchez
DJ / Stagehand / AV & Lighting Tech
Gabriel is a stagehand, AV/lighting technician, and DJ with a passion for bringing events to life behind the scenes. A true musician at heart, he enjoys all genres of the art. A true fan of experimental and fusion, Gabe likes to bend genres from electronic, soul, rock, hip-hop, and so on. Gabriel has been involved in playing instruments from trumpet, stand up bass, to guitar and
piano since the age of 9. In his spare time, Gabriel enjoys digesting music and analyzing the sounds and structure. Away from the craft, Gabriel enjoys traveling and spending quality time with loved ones. Known for his collaborative spirit, he takes pride in working within team environments and playing a key role in making unforgettable events happen.

I’m a DJ with a passion for all things music! For the past 9 years, I’ve been behind the decks, sharing my love for rhythm and beats wherever I go. My journey started with the classics—I’ve played the piano, banged on the drums, and even brought some smooth saxophone vibes to the mix!
Live music fuels my soul, and I’m always on the lookout for the best concerts and festivals to experience the thrill of performance. Music is not just a job for me; it’s my passion, my calling, and I’m excited to keep exploring new sounds, sharing unforgettable experiences, and building connections within this incredible community. I love crafting my own mixes and mashups, turning every event—be it a wedding, a cozy backyard gathering, or one of AZ’s hottest nightclubs—into an unforgettable experience! From
